Out of stock in most B&M's. OOS on LEGO Shop at Home. Whether he's in the new movies or not, it's Vader...he's iconic and will be highly sought after. Great Christmas flip IMO (hopefully)! The TRU exclusive bundle with Vader and Luke should be a winner also.

Prices for secondary market not so good but may be way up close to Xmas, i lended my crystal ball to SW10245's buyer...

Anyone know the Target DCPI for this? The DCPI search on the stock tracker is no longer functional

FYI: When searching B&M TRU for stock on these don't forget to walk over in the SW toy section of the store. Thats where most of them are. (ymmv of course)

If you're having trouble finding this set, and you think you really need several... Amazon UK has them "on sale". I put 5 in my cart... with shipping to US, minus VAT, they were 17.79 GBP each... maybe about US$28 each with no fee credit card?

kmart.com has them for shipping, though they are a hot buy, so discounts are limited.  I bought 4 and 3 of them came in the original lego box (other was packed in a 2nd box fortunately).

Also TRU had a ton of them last week, both single and with Luke.

General Grievous is way badder. Awesome set.

I built both Vader and Grievous. Thinking that these two will be the chicken dinners of this line. Will be waiting for discount in smyths or argos to load up.

I keep seeing these at B&M I spend about 5 minutes pondering getting them and then pass. I feel like there will be a massive restock soon, and people will be left holding the bag on anything that is not TFA.

I plan on buying the Vader/Luke TRU combo, Grievous, Cody, and TFA Stormtrooper (when released) for my personal collection.  Just waiting for the right time to get them.  Every time I go to TRU I spend my coupons on resale inventory instead.  

I've wound up with Luke and Kenobi through combined Shopgoodwill lots. If I were walking into a store for a LEGO set, these would not make the cut

I'm glad you said that. I bought a couple with that thinking, but I'm known for buying duds.

BTW, I might be blind (or added since I last checked), but I don't think this combo set is in the database yet.

The Vader Luke combo also seems to be a north America exclusive? Nothing over here in the UK TRU anyway. For me Grievous is the stand out figure for this line.

Staring at Vader at $24 and Grievous $28 on the shelf in front of me at HEB.  Buy both?

I think you can do better than that but it's not a bad price if you want them for your personal collection.

Is this and the other Series 1 figures done?

I can't really find anywhere that has them in stock. LEGO Shop at Home had them down as "available in January" last month but that seems to have changed along with the other figures. I'm expecting a restock but if that doesn't happen these could be good as the run was quite short.
