Most are predictable, but  Christmas Train 40138 and Gingerbread House 40139 are Interesting.  Given the numbering these could be mini builds (4013X), though that would put the christmas train in Jan?, or promo polys (like 40140) and the mini builds are only planed through dec?  Also more bricktober mini modulars.

The numbering for 40138 Christmas Train and 40139 Gingerbread House are indicative of the monthly mini-build series (see June 40131 Parrot; july 40132 Whale; August 40133 Kangaroo) though these would make them the builds for January and February, which seems a little late.  Or, are these the Brick Wall sets?

So, out of curiosity: which seasonal set would be more valuable in the future? The 40138 Holiday Train or the 40139 Gingerbread House ?

Should be GH.

Sell them now and do something else with that money.  Otherwise you will need to wait an entire year for the value to go up which is not guaranteed.  I always flip promos like they're hotcakes.  I don't invest in them.

They are easy to store and ship so I actually buy them up as cheap as possible now and then flip them the next year for a profit of 10 to 15 each.

These seem to be around $25 w free shipping. Is it better to flip these this year or wait til next season.

40124 and 40125 now available on LEGO Shop at Home.  Train still getting added to carts $99+.

Interesting that those aren't listed when you click on Categories - > Seasonal. Have to find them by item #.

I am guessing their search index is hosed.  they do not show up under "whats new" either, but they are both tagged with seasonal and new.  would also explain why their search keeps redirecting back to the home page...

either way grabbed 5 of each because i am not sure these will last till the gingerbread house. though with the search issues they just might....

They are under "what's new" but a few pages back.

Sorry if this has been asked; on Black Friday, if my LEGO store has Holiday Trains remaining, will $100 buy get me a train and a gingerbread house?

all depends on your store. worth trying since you'll be  there

Technically, the promotion ends November 13.  But it doesn't hurt to ask.
