Today some other lego forums have published this list of all 2016 Technic sets. Sets 52-56 seem to be the larger sized ones but it is not clear which will be the flagship model.

I would imagine the AROCS will still be the flagship in 2016. Many of those sounds like really nice subjects though. Bucket wheel excavator? How about a 7000 piece Bagger 288? Now THAT would be interesting!

Lego uses "IP" as a placeholder for "intellectual property". In other words - something licensed. My vote is on a Technic Batmobile.

Going by Lego pricing logic... that would be €300 in Europe, US$300 in states and AU$900 in Australia.

So I just looked at the exchange rate, and it currently is equivalent to approx. $450 US dollars.  That's just stupid insane and I can only imagine, if this is true, what in the hell Lego has in store with such a ridiculously expensive Technic set.  I'm excited and all, but it seems a little too expensive.

There is a rumoured set at that price which is supposed to be 42056 and will be the GB HQ for Technic fans like me. Just as well because the 2016 1H sets are all shockers from an investment and purist point of view.

Also there is rumoured price 499 NZD for bucket wheel excavator.There were rumours that ip car is 300€ set and second biggest set is 220€ .

These NZD prices are a bit high, so take it with caution.

Looking forward to the IP car.  Hope it's some sort of RC.  At that price point should be something special.

Maybe it´s a huge Ecto 1 that the fire station can fit inside!

No store employee didn't tell me today that the Ultimate IP car will be a Technic Batmobile, the version from the upcoming movie.
