I found ONE solitary figure at my Target today. Does anybody know how to locate the DCPI number or is it the same for all CMF series?

The LEGO store near me had a box yesterday. I was in a hurry so quickly smooshed 4 of them to make sure they were different. Ended up with a zombie pirate, zombie businessman, plant monster and gargoyle. Went back today - all gone and they didn't know when they would have more.

probably on the 1st (release day)...

After a marathon smooshing session of >150 random minifigs, I ended up with ONE cheerleader.

I grabbed the last 9 bags at the lego store yesterday and got no dupes but only one female the witch. Were the packs you smooshed from a target end cap display? If so not random if not then phenomenal odds.

Have yet to see these in the wild. All my nearby Target stores show minifigures in stock, but none have any minifigures of any kind on the shelves. Hoping for lots of these on the shelves Tuesday morning.

Grabbed 8 packs at random (no smooshing from this guy, because I basically lack the skills) off the endcap at Target. Got 8 different minifigures with no dupes. Now I've got to figure out a way to improve my skills enough to grab the remaining 8 I need to round out my collection.

The accessories are easiest for me...

Hope the zombie businessman, evil plant and crazy scientist are common. I need to smoosh 'n run.

I grabbed them from 7 different Walgreens each only stocking between 4 and 30. When I'd ask if they had any more, I was assured "that's all they got." (really?)

...but yes, one cheerleader. weird.

3 Zombie Businessman, 3 Plant, and 5 crazy scientists per case.  Zombie businessman is one of the harder ones to identify.  Crazy Scientist is pretty easy once you find the beaker, which is fairly easy to identify.  The plant guy has one of the larger heads, and if you find a bag with a large head, it's either Squarefoot or Plant guy.

Smooshing at first is quite intimidating, especially when it's a brand new line and it's your first round.  But once you know what you are looking for it becomes relatively easy and gets to the point, where you can just grab a bag, and be Carnac as Magnificant and instantly know by the first touch of a head piece, or the accessory.  I think I could pretty much hit an entire case, and have it identified within 15 minutes at this point.  I've already smooshed through about 100 monster bags so far.

Walgreens is the only place near me with them and most them have them out already.  They weren't even in their pos computers as of yesterday and most didn't have a lot of them.  My fiancee and I somehow got 8 unique from two locations with our poor smooshing skills.  We've yet to find a cheerleader either (or werewolf, witch, gargoyle, frankenstein, spider lady, banshee, bigfoot).  Is the smoosh guide on gnaat.wordpress.com accurate for count/box of the figs?  The spectre is pretty amazing looking floating at the top of my lighthouse.

Agreed...time put in up front = less time spent smooshing over my lunch break. There is a learning curve, but this series is one of the easier ones in my (limited) memory.

I find him easy to identify with his newspaper. He's the only one with this piece...

Some finally showed up around here. The minifigs were all in a row on the hangers. (pirate zombies all in a row, crazy cat lady all in a row..too easy)

Who is fetching the highest prices on eBay? Zombie cheerleader? The naughty Tiger lady? Banshee? those have got to be the most desired, right?
