Black Seas Barracuda - Original or Re-issued?

Hey folks!

Not sure where else to post this question, so figured this was as safe a spot as any.  I recently scored what I think it a Black Seas Barracuda that was an unadvertised "hidden treasure" in a CL lot I scored.  Now, even though it doesn't have the sails, I'm fairly certain it's a Barracuda due to the huge brown hull, yellow "trim" pieces, 4 cannons, and red cannon doors.  

Now, here's what I need help with - I'm not sure which version of it I have.  The original version (6285) or the re-issued version (10040).

Is there an easy way to find out which it is?
