slobey Posted January 23, 2013 Share Posted January 23, 2013 Hi guys, Picked up this one today off a local classified website: IMG_0549 by slobey79, on Flickr It may not be as fancy as the displays they have today but this is the way the displays were when I was a kid staring longingly at the new cool sets that were out :-) I haven't bought this for investment but out of curiosity anyone know what it would be worth? Furbs Posted January 23, 2013 Share Posted January 23, 2013 It is a very cool display box, i remember these from when i was a kid, unfortunately i don't know what its worth, i tried to find some on eBay to no success. slobey Posted January 23, 2013 Author Share Posted January 23, 2013 The models are glued together and the box can be accessed by undoing the screws on the front on either side of the sticker. The Perspex then slides up and out, it's pretty air tight there wasn't much dust in there and I'm pretty sure it hasn't been opened. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Ed Mack Posted January 23, 2013 Share Posted January 23, 2013 Could be worth quite a lot. It is very rare. I have been collecting LEGO displays for 5 or 6 years and I have never seen one of these.
