Do you think guys the Arctic City theme will last for a while (let's say up to 2016) or could it stop this summer ?

I can have a deal on arctic base (about 36% off) so I wonder if it could be a good choice if the theme stops this summer (to resell on Xmas 2015).

I'm sure it's a good investment but I would like to invest elsewhere if it'll stay available for one more year.

I think as a City set, it is special and the theme is "cool"

This line will be very good around Christmas.

I picked up 3 of these a couple of years ago for $18 a piece during a Walmart clearance haul.  Best haul ever.  Never to be repeated.  Anyway, it's a neat little set that includes a lot of play features.  The base section itself is great.  Fully enclosed, lots of detail (for a City set).  The rest is a bit juniorized for my taste.  Long term I see it doing ok.  But Lego seems to be releasing a new City sub-theme of similar quality each season so there will be competition.  Like someone else I sold mine last year for RRP.

I found 2 of these at Walmart clearance for $45 about a year ago.  I'm still holding on to them but definitely glad I didn't pay more than I did.  It is a very slow seller as you see based on Amazon & eBay sales.  Though I do think it will do OK but not great during the holiday season.
