Cool to start these off in the same thread?  Okay...

I'm just wondering... what's up with these sets?  Walmart seems to be phasing them out of their stores, no stock online, they don't show up when I search "Lego Star Wars" at target.com (but you can search them individually and order limit 1), most Targets near me are out of stock, most ToysRUs near me have no stock (but can order online limit 4).  Is this normal post-Christmas shortage... they'll all be stocked back up by spring?

I sold my last 3... see ya.. The profit I made from hoarding this set pretty much paid for most of our star wars collection over the last few years.  It was beautiful.

  • that's ok - it's still infinite profit when you put up none of your own money.  100% agree that's what this is.  it's not like someone was like - oh look i have a bunch of at-at's lying around i forgo

Call to check at EU Shop!

Looks like this is on its way out then, at least in the EU / Asia.

I've still got an opportunity to buy both this set and the ISD 75055 at RRP - which do you think is the better choice? I'm leaning towards the AT-AT.

I'd also go for the AT-AT.

Not only do I think it looks way better on display (standalone) but it's also the more interesting build. The only thing ISD has got going is the emperor holo.

But well... who knows ;-)

I´d rather you went for the AT AT :P

Last week the 75055 ISD first went call to check, then retired. Now the 75054 AT-AT call to check. So one of the coming days it most likely goes Retired as well. Excellent!

Yup, C2C seems to mean retired at EU shop these days, Villa Savoye went the same way as did the Technic stuff.

Cheers for the heads up. Toys R Us UK still have them at £83.14 each. Don't forget Bricktober sets on orders of £44.99.

Sold out at Us shop.

Great to see some finally hitting the trail FOR GOOD!!

That's hardly surprising, I would imagine US resellers have been smashing into it hard following its EU status

I'm only cheering when I see the official "Retired" status appear. TLG has been ****ing with us too often, switching between sold out, call to check and then available again. :lolu:

I wouldn´t trust them even the (RE is coming back in Feb if you are Italian). Just make sure your buying is not influenced by SAH status and it should be fine.

right! 75920 was RETIRED PRODUCT until yesterday and then SOLD OUT and now RETIRED PRODUCT again...boh

"Retired Product" is to be taken with a pinch of salt these days. We need to year at least to pass before it's truly gone. Just look at the recent resurrections around Christmas, eg: Santa's Workshop, Toy Shop (slightly changed), etc. Don't be surprised if the Winter Village Market returns.

Just received a text message from Toys R Us informing me that my AT-AT reservations have been cancelled due to the item being discontinued. If nothing, helping to compound what we already know.

It's official! :)

John Lewis have 32left at £83 if you need any more.

They're the same price at Toys R Us and if you wait till Sunday there is a promotion which will give you a £20 Gift Card when you spend £75 on Lego. Plus you get the Bricktober set for orders over £45

Just bought 2 . Got to be in it .

Nice. @ retail, or lower?

John Lewis - out of stock

I know the whole "There's no way TLG will retire X product before X" has been dis-proven many times.... but i find it hard to believe that there won't be an AT-AT (this set or a new one) available for the rumoured UCS Hoth set.

Stranger things have happened though.

AT AT was only in one OT film, no need for it right now. Whether they make a UCS version later is another point so don´t speak too soon!
