January 29, 201511 yr Author Wow they are showing exactly what is inside? Seems kind of early to be making advent calendars lol.One of last year's early toy expos had the advent calendars on display in the same manner as well. I agree the timing is amusingly early as if seeing your birthday presents when it won't be for months. Haha.

I agree the timing is amusingly early as if seeing your birthday presents when it won't be for months. Haha. It's almost like opening all the days of an advent calendar on day one.
August 20, 201510 yr Saw one in its natural environment today but they wouldn't sell it to me.How do you "like" & dislike" a post @ the same time? Why did they have it out if they weren't gonna sell it? Oh, wait, it's TRU. Nevermind...
August 24, 201510 yr Is it my imagination, or have the Santa's been the same for the past three years?
October 21, 201510 yr The City Advents on the shelf at my local LEGO BAM were 37R5. The Star Wars were all 32F5.
April 7, 20169 yr What was your plan when you bought it? That will be a big driver to determine when to sell .... unless you bought it just because it was on sale.
April 7, 20169 yr I have no experience with selling advent calendars, but something tells me the best time to sell them is in the months before Christmas, specifically at the end of November/early December when the official supply of advent calendars might dry up. Unless the 2016 City Advent Calendar is a dud, and your 2015 version is way better, in which case you might be able to sell earlier. The lesson here is: just because it is on sale does not make it a good investment
