What would you do if a store .. TRU btw .. would call and tell you they found something in there warehouse that you've been looking for so long ..

 

Got a phone call yesterday around dinner time ..

 

-" Hello Sir we have found these sets that you asked for a long time ago ! ... "

 

-What ? .. are you sure .. ? is that some kind of joke to do ?? ..

 

 - "No Sir , I really have these in my office waiting for you .."

 

--- Very funny .. you almost got me thinking it was real ... hahahah

 

- " Sir I insist .. I really have these .. come tomorrow morning to pick them up "

 

This morning I called them .. and believe it or not .. I'm now a proud owner of ... drum roll please ....... rararararar

Yeah KJ was good .. with a small deception . full price .. but still this is a Splendid set .. and will do well  in a nearby future

Wow you are like me last week. Another crazy uncle in the stock control dept. How come all these shops have so little control over their warehouse inventory?

Maybe on average, but I've had some real wankers.

I found five FB a month after retirement at a local TRU. Not sure why they had them but normally those aren't sold in stores. I suspect those grav bought were returns just sitting in the back and they didn't know what to do with them.

Maybe now TRU will finally take down their FB listing on the website!

Wow nice haul. Don't have good experience with TRU.ca myself. Last time I brought LEGO there they sent me a damaged box all taped up.

I've been looking for months .. in each TRU Stores down here they have a binder with specific sets.. I always check these out .. and take all the "EOL" one and ask the customer service to check if any of these can be found ! ..  Let me tell you I never had any luck .. but what did it cost me to ask ?? .. and suddenly I hit GOLD ! This Manager did manage to find these somewhere .. have no idea where.. thought he wanted me to stop asking for these gems !!
