So for October, I order couple of items, one for 80, which is enough for free shipping by itself, the other one is 40.  For the $40 item, which is the star wars advent calendar, I'm thinking about returning it and change it to city advent calendar.  The question is if I return and purchase the city advent, will Lego require me to return the free Toy Workshop that they were given out for free in October as well?  if so, I may just purchase another City and sell the Star Wars Advent Calendar.

I don't know how they would handle an exchange, but I would think if you returned the SW calendar in exchange for a City, you're still over $100.

I had returned a set that I bought during an opening of a new store. They did not ask for the store promo back. They did however take the double VIP points away.

Yea, but technically, it's not really an exchange since it's not the same item so the over $100 wouldn't really matter I imagine.  I emailed them and will try it out at the store sometime within the next couple of weeks.
