Nice find and thanks for the heads up.  Wanted to get that $10 Ninjago set for my son but by the time I logged on/reset my password...stock was all gone.  Better luck next time.

Btw I think the $40 one 70724 is quite good too, except for that you have already got it.

That ninjacopter set is a really good deal, already bought one from Costco...

Was able to get some Kai Fighters for 10 bucks in store. Showed them the price on website which surprised employees but they knocked them down.

It`s a decent set, but not at that price, I agree with "yuck".

Checked 2 local locations today but nothing is marked down at all...

I must say massakassa is really very very lucky.

 

He just ran into a Walmart store that had those sets on sale with those prices and no other Lego collector/investor had found that

 

But this kind of event is just to that store and should not be found in any Walmart store ....

Its different for every store, but they should all have these sets marked down soon enough. All the Walmart`s i know have stacks of the Dol Guldur Ambush for example, which they would never be able to sell if they don't mark them down further than $20. There are some exceptions though, like the corporate droid tanks they had them for $20 and people start scooping them up already, which makes no sense since you can pick those up for that price whenever TRU has their 20% off deals.

Now it is Sept. 30 22:30, seems 70721 and 70720 are available again.

Just FYI: 70724 NinjiaCopter is available right now (Oct. 17 12:25).

Noticed that as well, some of that stuff has been on there a long time. Will be nice to see something new up there, or even just the current stuff at a "clearance" price.

$5 off $50 is hardly clearance.
