Same but not worried about it.

Don't get me wrong, still worried about 100 other Amazon incompetencies but not that one.

Just a heads up.

Amazon is eliminating prepaid return label exemptions. Get ready for unlimited returns.

Prepaid return labels required for high-value items starting February 8

Effective February 8, 2026, all US sellers must use the Amazon Prepaid Return Label (APRL) program for customer returns regardless of item value. This change eliminates the previous high-value exemption to create a more consistent return experience for faster refund processing and reduced customer service requirements.

The APRL program automatically provides customers with prepaid return shipping labels through Buy Shipping Services. This streamlined process reduces the refund cycle time from 14 to 7 days and eliminates the need for buyer-seller messaging.

Existing category exemptions will continue to apply, including Handmade, certified preowned watches, non-physical items, dangerous goods, and extra-large or heavy items. Additionally, items that are ineligible for prepaid return labels will remain exempt from this requirement.

We understand you may have concerns about high-value returns. When we issue a refund to a buyer and you believe it wasn't your fault, you can file a claim for reimbursement through the Seller Assurance for E-Commerce Transactions (SAFE-T) program.

Surprised that the above announcement from amazon has no response on this board.

How do you guys think this will affect your selling on amazon?

Don't think it will effect me at all. Amazon returns are already a **** show and I don't sell a lot of super high value sets on there for that very reason.

Not sure that really means anything since Amazon just makes up their own exception anytime they see fit. Had a return last year that UPS dropped off at the warehouse next door. As soon as the buyer saw it had been delivered he filed an A-Z claim since I had not refunded yet. Got the notification and so looked for package. It was still within the window and the buyer never contacted me first. Amazon just said it didn't matter since customer filed first.

Had more switches from customers too this year with buyers returning damaged boxes that clearly were not what I sent.

Still don't understand when I can charge return shipping. Seems for the same reasons sometimes I can and sometimes I can't.

it depends on the reason the buyer chose for the return. If they chose a reason that is their fault i.e. i changed my mind you can charge return shipping but if they chose a reason that is the sellers fault i.e. damaged item then you can't charge return shipping

Anyone explain why certain SKUs are not being charged FBA fulfillment fees? I'm used to fees for standard sized sets selling in the $45-$70 range to be around 25-30%. I've got some that are consistently being charged only 15%, which I assume is just the referral fee.

Has anyone else experienced the ink rubbing off of Lego boxes over the past couple of years.

I am certain this is happening while I am transporting them in cardboard boxes. I can actually see the powdered ink from one set on the set that is next to it. I've been selling Lego on Amazon for over a decade and haven't seen it before a couple of years ago. I think what is happening is that the boxes are moving slightly against each other during normal driving, and it is having a sandpaper effect. But it only affects some boxes (maybe 25%). I can also see where ink is rubbing off of Lego boxes onto the cardboard boxes they are being stored in.

Now that Amazon doesn't offer Collectable condition for toys, this is becoming a bigger issue.

Anyone concerned country of origin will trigger deactivation in those countries which will trigger USA deactivation?

I'm getting emails asking to add missing Country of Origin info to my listings. Looking at using the Category Listings Report to mass update all listings with Mexico as the COI. Anyone experience problems with this method or have advice on if selecting MEXICO for all items will cause problems?

I got it for about 30 so far. The first batch was just 4.

Not just GWP's in my case

WE had something like this last year. In the end some were resolved by being reinstated and some went to dog pages. no account health issues. hopefully it resolves simlarly
