This unfair pricing policy is getting ridiculous especially on retired sets. Amazon wants retail price or lower. wtf

I have been complaining about this to Amazon in every seller survey I answered. (for the bots to ignore :P ).  Amazon is killing their 3PS model.

Lets see if they reverse this decision when the lawsuits from AWS outage start piling... LOL

Unfortunately I don't see this getting any better. Amazon wants turnover. They are getting far more money by volume + fee's versus the small increments in pricing + storage cost.

The buy box logic/unfair pricing are the primary drivers that would make me quit selling. There are many risks/reasons not too, but not being able to move product due to a systemic purposeful policy implementation is a business killer. There are so many listings that are 20-30% less profitable due to the sticky price problem which makes the business model invalid. I had thousands of the Mario Cat suit and Fire suits. I was moving hundreds a month at 40-50 and then one day. All the listings were removed and the price was stuck at 15$. With everything else it's impossible to operate a business like this on Amazon without a free market. It's not like collectibles are required medical devices the policy is stupid.

Maybe you can't just sell an account "al la carte" but you can certainly sell a business that sells on Amazon.  I'm exiting.  Hoping I can sell through by next holiday.

Is selling Lego on Amazon still gated? I remembered two years ago or so that there is no gating at all.

This about sums it up.  I've always been able to adjust/pivot but not being able to move product just kills the whole endeavor.

Is it too late to send for FBA by now for Christmas?

Probably fine but total crapshoot. Could have stuff sitting there in October that suddenly gets shifted at the worst time of the season like they did last year. This year, they claimed that Oct 30 was the deadline for optimized shipments to arrive and be available for Black Friday so seems like you might be ok for xmas if it goes in soon.

Yep, most of mine was checked in around 12/25 last year. Didn't work out too bad in the end.

Let me post something "not bad" about Amazon since this is Friday :D

Got an email with subject "Celebrating 25 years of retail transformation" thanking their selling partners (us).  I kept looking for a "catch" but did not see any. I thought "oh wow that is kind of nice, perhaps it would thaw my cold icy heart"....   Not a second later I got email from Amazon bots telling me to lower my prices and the blizzard in my heart intensified 🥶

it does offer 2 and 2 are blocked due to full capacity,  they all have placement fees even breaking it out 5+ boxes.. cost are a $30+ more

I also notice they are offering rebate to deliver after Jan 4.

Limited-time discount offer. Have your shipments delivered after Jan 4 to receive $0.15/u fulfillment fee rebate.

EDIT: i thought refreshing changes it... but it was cuz of non-amazon partnered carrier. so for me its just 2 options to ship via UPS and 2 options closed due to full capacity right now.
