So... is the toys certificate thing slowing anyone down?

Personally I have not sent in any more inventory pending more clarity and resolution

Is it business as usual for the rest of you guys?

Sending in inventory... not buying

Of the shipments I've sent so far, I've already encountered issues with 20% of deliveries.  Zero units found in a 3 boxes weighing 25-44 lbs, others delivered but not checked in for 30+ days... not eligible for investigation for another 11 days, etc etc.

They are already in midseason form.

Stopped buying completely.

All FBM since November last year.  I like the control I have over pricing and you never know what is going to happen to your product once you give it to them.  Too many items become lost until maybe after the holidays and so you are stuck with non-moving inventory.  Also love how during the last couple weeks of buying some items go into the transfer portal . . .

I also still have Chinese seat covers from someone else's inventory still in my inventory from last year racking up storage and return shipping fees.  Hundreds of them . . .  Three or four cases opened each resulting in the same outcome.  Items are mislabeled.  Other than on the phone, they will not acknowledge that the seat covers are not mine.

What do you guys think is the endgame strategy for 3rd party sellers on Amazon/Walmart?  Seems like re-selling branded items is becoming very tough.  Are they just wanting a marketplace where Amazon is the only "reseller" and all the other listings are either private label or large companies selling their own products at some point (like Lego/Hasbro/Mattel)?  Could be good for Ebay, but just not nearly as much traffic there anymore.

I don't worry much about the CPC issue on Amazon because it is resolved if the ASIN has the testing attached to it by any seller. I'm not as confident this will be the case on Walmart.  I've received testing requests this week from Wal-mart for listings that Wal-Mart currently has in stock in the buy box. Why would they want a testing report from me for something they are selling and they buy direct from the manufacturer?

I also got an urgent email but when i follow the link:

This does seem to align with what the other poster said about amazon only requiring for under 12.

love amazon customers, Maybe I should call the cops for the white bag and tell them i think its drugs,

I don't care who you are...this is always a true scumbag move.

Out of curiosity, (or perhaps I don't really want to know the answer), is there actual recourse for this kind of thing?

Unfortunately  we don't get FBA address or we could file IC3,  so i do this on amazon, https://sellercentral.amazon.com/abuse-submission/form/buyer-abuse-refund  I tell them to ban them not that it works but I try,

then do a fba refund request which i used to get back the order amount now it's probably 10 bucks

the one with white san they had 4 sets ordered so I'm sure 3 more are coming back with sand, the other order was 2 sets with one back

Assuming it was an fbm order, wait and let Amazon reimburse them and then submit a safety claim. You may or may not win and if you do win you probably won't be made whole but you will get something back.

Just a heads up. Not Lego specific.

Multiple sellers have been posting "Other charges" deducted from amazon payments account (anywhere from S50-S1000) with no explanation as to what the "other" is.

They took $594 from my account today. No outstanding a-z, chargeback etc

Please check your payments account.

I believe most people are finding that these charges are shipping related. I think they are reporting it's additional charges from dimensional weight charged by FedEx.

This “other charge” BS happened to me in January for around $250.  After following up with Amazon no less than 5 times they finally told me that it was an aggregation of FedEx shipping charge adjustments.  I sell FBM and usually buy shipping via seller central.  I try not to use FedEx based on this and other past experiences.  Not sure if it’s Amazon or FedEx that I should be frustrated.  Amazon’s lack of transparency and dismissive attitude regarding basic fee transparency is shocking.

during december fedex ground economy long distance was very cheap. it was cheaper for me to ship coast to coast then the next state over. I then received a 600 dollar other charge from fedex on my account in january . the break down was all from fedex shipments although amazon has no idea why i was charged the extra money for those shipments.(it cannot be dimensions was wrong as i entered everything correctly) I have a case open for 6 months that once a week i receive a email that we are working on it .When i push them that it's been months i get a canned we are working on it response. I think the ai messed up the long distance pricing and they are trying  to recoup the mistake. That is wrong because they should be required to honor what they posted, particularly since i would have used ups if not for the fact that fedex was so much cheaper. Its insane that amazon can just take your money with no explanation

Yep, I have a ticket opened for more than a week asking them about those charges (although my total amount is pretty low).  Not getting my hopes up though :P

My Fedex extra charges were filed in relation to order numbers.  They would put "wrong measurements" as reason.  On "actual measurements" they would put the EXACT SAME weight and box measurements that I used to purchase the postage from Amazon.   I have not used Fedex since I found out, even when they were more than $5 cheaper.

The charges I mentioned above were not related to any order and with 0 explanation.  They just showed up as "Other charges"

exactly my point .you entered the correct dimensions but they anyway charged you more later on. I don't understand how that is legal to advertise a service for one price and then just take more money then that

with fedex you can not go by the size that is printed on the box, You need to add one inch to every side,  19*12*3 make it 20*13*4

they use lasers to scan boxes so if any side gets pinched while in transit, Your going to get dinged
