  5. Hi. There is again a good telerobotics app for android called RoboCam. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=ru.proghouse.robocam&hl=en_US You build a Mindstorm's EV3 robot and tape on an android mobile. The mobile connects with Bluetooth to EV3 and then with wifi to the internet. It can then be remotely controlled from other countries from a mobile or computer in a browser. Here is some collected info from their website about their app development. http://www.proghouse.ru/tags/robocam Translate it with Google translate. https://translate.google.com It is not in open source as CellBots was released in 2009. www.cellbots.com …

Has anyone's kids entered the LEGO Friends design contest? Our son made two entries and he is super proud of them! The roof on the mountain lodge is questionably stable, but he managed to make it work well enough! If you want to head over to his entries and give them a thumbs up or a comment, he's loving reading the comments We'd love to see your kiddo's designs too! You can either go to Shop Kits to order two die cut stickers with official Lego pieces as shown below or visit Shop Stickers to just have a pack of four die cut stickers without any pieces to use in any way you please.

I was searching for the best websites with ideas for building lol (League of Legends) heroes using Legos. I've found coolgamers.club, which features building heroes from Lego minifigure parts. Do you know any other such sites, and which one is the best for you?

Trying to contribute more, this is the latest MOC I've completed. It's been around a few months and I'm trying to figure out how to get better pictures while having no lighting equipment. It's a Neo Futuron spaceship named "Deep Space Sentinel." I had the trans-blue dome panels from old sets and I've always wanted to make a spaceship cockpit with them. It got a little bigger than I'd originally planned. The hardest part was getting a stand built. It meant I had to keep it mostly un-assembled while I figured out a decent stand. I want to do the same thing with the other 80's-90's space themes; make giant spaceships.

Here is the long-awaited collage for this year's Nnovvember build event. The number of entries this time is noticeably smaller than the last (which was around a hundred or something) but still very impressive finishing at 77 Vic Vipers between 48 builders. You can check out the Flickr group to see more. I had thought of posting a handful each day similar to what I do with SHIPtember ....but then I realize just how many designs this one event can bring in. Ha. Nnovvember 2016

Hello- Playing around with LDD and trying to come up with some alternatives for the 75192 back engine area. One avenue I'm exploring is connecting flat plates at an angle via a skeleton arm or space skeleton arm...however LDD will not let me connect the two. Any tips for getting around this?

  21. Hello! I want to introduce my build - The Mirror of Galadriel. The set is dedicated to the iconic scene from "The Lord of the Rings" where Lorien queen Galadriel shows hobbits their future, using the magic elven mirror. The set consists of approximately 100 pieces and includes 2 minifigures. I also posted my work on LEGO Ideas, so if anyone like it, he may support it. After acquiring 10000 supports, my work can be released as official LEGO set. The link on my project page: https://ideas.lego.com/projects/85110

  22. Hello all, I am not so active anymore in the LEGO community. But I have seen this project started at kickstarter named Lightstax. It needs funding for the creation of lightning lego pieces, lamps and stuff. It looks impressive and would really enhance my Modular Buildings. I have pledged this project already. See the kickstarter project here: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/brandtraders/light-stax-toy-bricks-meet-led Kind regards, Deejay

Hey everyone, here is the first micro landscape I did. Its a very simple little MOC, only 16x16 and its actually based on the loading screens from Lego: The Force Awakens on the PS4 (for those of you who have played it you might recognise it?)I really enjoyed making this little model and I am quite tempted to do similar scenes for all the famous locations of the entire sage (any suggestions welcome!)Anyway as always be great to know your thoughts!

Hi there guys, I havent posted in a while but thats not because I haven't been building, I have just been away with work! I have a couple of builds to share with you starting with this... It is my recreation of the final scenes from Revenge of the Sith. As with all my MOCs I have kept this on a 16x16 base. Here it is in comparison to the actual scene from the film... Quite a fun build this, especially making the Death Star look like it is in the early stages of construction. And I loved the fact I could use the new style Vader and Tarkin (From A-Wing vs Tie Advanced set) as I think they are two really good looking mini figs…

To think I was born around the middle of this line's run, and by the time I would have been old enough to start it quietly retires. Imagine an original theme running for a good decade before heading off into the sunset. Also imagine being limited to three colors of red, blue, & yellow for a build with the occasional white and green for accents or foliage.
