Friends

Nothing yet aside from the confirmed set name & number. Another Pop Star style design I believe and relatively big. This is a placeholder until more is known as usual.

Several leaked images appeared today. A new house, a rockband stage, horse training/championship set, what looks like a smoothie shop with a strawberry on top, a 2-story art studio with what looks to be new water-reactive material for 'painting', a bunch of small ones I don't feel like describing. Also 5 or 6 sets that are of a similar build/theme that remind me of Poly Pocket where you build a heart-shaped box container and the lid can be taken off to form whatever the "scene" of the set is. These are only $10 apiece, so there isn't a whole lot of risk here. I have been getting into Friends a little more lately, and I have two young daughters who like the theme. Any opinions? As we all know, it is hard to pass up on any set that is retiring soon or harder to find.

Going into 2014 I'm thinking that there is a pretty good chance that the Lego Friends theme looses traction due to competition by its own new princess theme-the question is, how much. Might be worthwhile thinking about whether it's worth stocking away friends sets as they retire (or not). I predict princesses will be huge though.

Did anyone know there was a friends series on the Disney Channel??? I sure didn't until 5 minutes ago when I was guide surfing and came across it. This theme is/has been going places!!!

I would like to thank all the wonderful people who told me about PRICE MATCHING at Target! Today I took the Heartlake High set to the customer service desk. They did a price match with Amazon--price down to 39.99. Then I used my $5 off of $29.99 and up Target Lego coupon. Then I used my Target red card. Grand total after all of that was $35.57!

Seems like every other retired set from this theme has had great gains, this one sitting at $13 with prime shipping on Amazon. Any idea why this set is so much less popular? All the other ones that retired around the same time are all over $20, a couple over $30. I am kind of stumped.

I recently bought 10 copies of Olivia's House for $49 each with it drying up from retail stores. This is my first major set from the Friends line up to flip. How has the Friends theme been treating you guys? Are you reselling as a set or mostly parting it out? Are we seeing any significant returns on retired sets yet? If so, which ones are they? Which ones are sleeper that we should keep an eye on? Thanks for sharing!

Found a bunch of this FRIENDS polybag at Target in the Easter candy area (or seasonal section). Brickset states that it should have been available for January. Rather late, don't ya think? Anyway, there you go. Just one of many gems I found today!

Local store have couple of friends pet salon 41007 for $14. Can i flip this set easily? Is there money to be made? Quick response is appreciated, im afraid someone will buy them. Thanks.
