Walmart Deals

Talk about good deals your find at Walmart stores and Walmart.com

  1. http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2013-02-15/wal-mart-executives-sweat-slow-february-start-in-e-mails.html I have no idea if this helps or hurts our chance to negotiate good deals with the managers. Just thought it was interesting...

Hi guys, I noticed a few of my local Walmart stores showed online availability for some high demand Lego items (i.e. 9574-1), but when I visited the store they had none on the shelves...They were in store lay-away! Walmart starts their Christmas Layaway on 9/14 this year and all items must be paid for by 12/14...I would bet you'll see some high demand items going back on the shelves by tomorrow morning

Not sure of "official" policy but my walmart has no problems price matching, even online. They however never match a % off or BOGO, just prices The app now has a price catcher feature that will search local ads and refund you the difference. I bought some Lego during the across the street shopko Bogo 40% sale just to see if it would "catch" it I'll keep you posted

Hello, I am from Istanbul. Here in Turkey, the LEGO prices are like 3-4 times more expensive than in the USA so I always buy from BL or eBay but this time I am planning to buy a big amount of sets. The Walmart prices are really great but stores like Walmart and Target don't offer international shipping. So is there a way to buy from Walmart and forward it here? Please help me. Thanks, Deniz

Check out this page on Walmart.com to pick two sets for $40. Most sets go for $24 each so its a nice little savings if you are interested in any of those sets. Let us know if you picked any of the combinations. Walmart 2 for $40 Bundle

Heads up! There is a new sidekick coming out to some stores featuring exclusive polybags. The sidekick is not supposed to go out for another 6 weeks but in case your store puts it out sooner here's what it looks like. At the top are 30400 and 30401 in case the glare makes it hard to read.

  7. Nice find at Walmart and currently in stock. Grab the City Space Center #3368 only $49.00 (29% off) Also, now the same price at Amazon

I just saw that this set finally went on sale again. I picked up one at this price. I think this is the lowest I have seen it. Unfortunately, tax and shipping (my local store is around a 20min drive) doesn't make this a smoking deal.

  10. So a week or so ago, I got onto Wal-Mart's site when they had the LOTR/ Hobbit bundle back when it saved you money and put 4 attack of the wargs and 4 attack on weathertop sets in my cart but never checked out because I hadn't talked it over with my spouse. Two days later, I got on again and found that the deal had changed to the sucky one we all saw later, you basically save a few cents if that. I reloaded my old shopping cart and checked out with the old prices! I have now picked them up (site to store shipping) and the entire transaction went through under the old amounts. Most retailers have a system in place for their online shopping carts that updates the prices …

Based on recent sale prices this one seemed like a steal for being found randomly on shelf. I was Leary about the $25 price tag thinking it was a mistake when I saw the original $90-something peaking through. Worst case my son and I have a nice "little" set to build once he's old enough.
