MEMBER OWNS SET: YES     MEMBER HAS BUILT SET: YES

FIRST IMPRESSION | Score: 7

Another cool looking box, graphics wise. I highly anticipated this set as well. This ship wasnt seen much in VI but without the Tyderium, the rebels would have lost! And of couruse, there is the poossibility to recreate the Emeperor's inspection scene given enough stormtrooper minifigures.

As a medium sized box I was initially underwhelmed but the finished model punches above its wheight size-wise.

UNIQUE PARTS | Score: 7

We've seen all these minifigures before although this Chewbaca seems slightly more detailed. You could never have too few Stormtroopers and this set gives us a couple.

Leia come with a cloak and Han has some earth tone clothes now. Also quite detailed.

PLAYABILITY/BUILD EXPERIENCE | Score: 8

The building experience was interesting. Clever use of technics to get tthe big wings to fold correctly. In landing mode, the ship is almost off balance with the landing gear extended. Nothing too serious.

Lots of clever movable guns and swooshing around is quite easy.

The main dorsal wing is build from a combination of regular bloack and technics, thereby adding substantial rigidity, although some of the technics parts do not line up with normal lego bricks to give a compeltely smooth tecture. Picking at starws really. Its a big wing and its rigid.

VALUE FOR MONEY | Score: 8

Its a slightly bigger model than anticipated. Pleasantly surprised.

THEME POPULARITY | Score: 7

A ship that has not had a lot of screen time but essential to any Original Trilogy collectors. Star Wars fan? Your collectioon is incomplepte without an Imperial Shuttle.

EXCLUSIVITY | Score: 5

New set. Highly available. Price makes it accessible.

PACKAGING | Score: 7

Smaller than expected box but highly detailed artwork. Brick tool included. Not many stickers. Nothing too special except for the detailed artwork.

GROWTH POTENTIAL | Score: 7

Difficult to answer. Price will initially drop due to this set being new. Closer to EOL we may see some collectorrs with a fear of missing out. This origianl trilogy masterpiece may be eclipsed by Star Wars VII and subsequent movie releases.

Collectors: Choose a sub-theme and stick to it!

DISPLAY QUALITY | Score: 7

Good sized and prominent piece. In landing mode, the folded wings' underside become visible and that detractts from the overall visual effect. But from a little distatmce, it perches like an eagle.

CONCLUSION & FINAL ANALYSIS | Score: 8

One of those sets that completes a colelction. Not many incarnations exist amd this is worthy of a place in Star Wars fan's collection.
