FIRST IMPRESSION | Score: 8

Hi all my name is Allen,  I just bought this set over the weekend and my frist impressions are "This is an Awesome set!". I am a fan of the new tv series "Star Wars Rebels" and the AT-DP looks just like the one on the tv series. I do see this set becoming a iconic set in the future, and if your a fan of the old chicken walker from " Empire Strikes Back and Return Of The Jedi", this new walker is pretty cool.  I will have to grab a few more.

UNIQUE PARTS | Score: 8

This set comes with four minifigures. Two AT-DP pilots, one stormtrooper, and Agent Kallus. Both the pilots and agent kallus are the new/rare minifigures in this set. The detail on all of the minifigures is very good, especially on agent kallus.  Kallus has two facial expressions that you can choose from.

PLAYABILITY/BUILD EXPERIENCE | Score: 8

Took a few of hours to build it. And it turned out to be a good looking unit. For those of you who like to stage epic Star Wars battles I can see a few of these new walkers playing their role. And with Episode 7 right around the cornor, this unit fits into the correct timeline.

VALUE FOR MONEY | Score: 10

I paid $49.99 for this 500 pcs set. I feel for that price I got a good deal, and I had to go buy four more. For collectors/investors this set is already taking off in price and I would recommend grabbing a few while you can still get them for retail. The detail on the AT-DP is alot better than the #7657 AT-ST Walker. And it comes very close to the high detail of the #10174 Limited Edition UCS Imperial AT-ST ROTJ Endor Vehicle. At the rate the price is already starting to climb, I can see in a couple of years making a nice profit on these.

THEME POPULARITY | Score: 10

Right now this is a popular set and it fits very well into the Disney Star Wars Rebels series. Its very posible that we will see some of these vehicles in Star Wars E7.

EXCLUSIVITY | Score: 5

This is not a exclusive set and should have a normal production run.

PACKAGING | Score: 9

As always the packaging and the marking that legos does is second to none.

GROWTH POTENTIAL | Score: 8

I see this set will grow in value.

DISPLAY QUALITY | Score: 8

When built, this set displays very well. The turret swivel left or right, everything is nice and tight, the front laser cannon has good motion.  You can open up the cockpit and disply the pilots, and their is a top hatch that opens and closes. The legs have very good detail and are very sturdy, but they are in a fit postion. And of course their are two missile that fire from under the chin of the walker.  The minifigures also rock with this set and you can put them anywhere with this set or others.

CONCLUSION & FINAL ANALYSIS | Score: 9

I am impressed with this set. Its a good bang for the buck, fun to build, a good amount of minifigures, and in general it displays well. Nine rating all the way.
