MEMBER OWNS SET: YES     MEMBER HAS BUILT SET: NO

FIRST IMPRESSION | Score: 8

The first thing I noticed about this set was the minifigures.  Taskmaster, Falcon, Purple Pants Hulk, and MODOK are all exclusive to this set which right off the bat make this look like a winner for investment and collecting.  The actual set itself, however, doesn't appear to be all too exciting.  But it does seem to have playability.

UNIQUE PARTS | Score: 8

As mentioned before, the minifigures are all exclusive with the exception of Thor and will probably be the main draw to the set.  The holding chamber in the set could also be a selling point as it is put together rather nicely.  The same can be said about MODOK's chair.  Other than that, nothing too spectacular.

PLAYABILITY/BUILD EXPERIENCE | Score: 8

The playability of the set does appear to be desirable as it's designed to be smashed by the Hulk.  My chief complaint on the set is the size.  Looking at the box, it appears to be a good size, but in actuality, I was shocked at how small it is.  I don't feel this will impact the value in the longrun too badly though as most of the EOL buyers most likely will not have seen it built in person and to somebody who will mainly build and play with it won't care too much about the size.

VALUE FOR MONEY | Score: 7

My general rule of thumb is to figure 10 cents per piece when buying a set.  At regular retail it's questionable but due to the figures, it's not a bad deal.  My recommendation is to buy it discounted at $40 or lower.  I personally paid $31 for my copies, therefore making it well worth it.   Could definitely part the figures out and the set by itself and make a fair profit even at retail.

THEME POPULARITY | Score: 9

It's Marvel and Marvel is popular.  Should hold it's value easily as long as the figures are not rereleased in future sets.

EXCLUSIVITY | Score: 5

Rather easy to find this set.  Many department stores and online retailers have it available.

PACKAGING | Score: 6

Nothing special about the packaging.

GROWTH POTENTIAL | Score: 8

I believe this set will increase in value pretty quick after EOL.  Only reason I can see it not increasing quickly is if the figures begin to be available in other sets.  I'd rate it low risk.

DISPLAY QUALITY | Score: 6

The figures are very well done but I wouldn't display the set itself as it is too small.

CONCLUSION & FINAL ANALYSIS | Score: 8

I rate the set an 8 and it should be a winner EOL.  Overall, it's a good investment in my opinion both for parting out and holding.  As a collector, I feel the figures alone will easily net $10+ each and maybe $8-9 for Thor due to him becoming more and more common.  Definitely recommended by me.
