FIRST IMPRESSION | Score: 8

A very nice star fighter design with new color scheme. What is not to love about this? Well organized and one book of instructions.

UNIQUE PARTS | Score: 9

Two unique minifigures that currently trade in the 10-15$ range, and a new droid design with very unique parts. These alone make up for the current value on BP.

Then add a ship made up of dark red, whic granted is a common color in star wars, but here brought to a whole new level.

PLAYABILITY/BUILD EXPERIENCE | Score: 9

This ship is probably the most useable ship in the Lego lineup. The pieces are fit together so well that this thing will be able to take extensive battle damage in play and still survive. Sometimes you wonder why they would stack bricks up in a way that essentially invites the piece to fall aprat, where here I marveled at the design.

VERY well done.

VALUE FOR MONEY | Score: 4

Others have said enough here. Retail is way overpriced. 35$ is about right.

THEME POPULARITY | Score: 5

I am not sure about the Old Republic, but there seems to be enough of a following.

EXCLUSIVITY | Score: 7

The set is now approaching end of life, and thus it will get harder to find it. before, it was available at all of the usual outlets, sometimes at a discount.

PACKAGING | Score: 8

Appealing box, minifigures well displayed, and a great shot of the ship in it's native surrounding.

GROWTH POTENTIAL | Score: 5

If you get it at retail, you have to make up for the overpriced cost, and wait until market value catches up. It also requires that Old Republic retains interest. That said, it is one of the greatest ships made, with swing wings and all, and I even considered buinding a custom with different colors.

DISPLAY QUALITY | Score: 10

The ship looks and displays awesome. It is fitted with unobstrusive stands that make it fit right on the shelf.

CONCLUSION & FINAL ANALYSIS | Score: 8

I like this set. It's a great fighter ship, and possibly the nicest of the series. With three unique figures / droids and excellent playability, it deserves a green score.

Due to the exorbitant retail price, it is unfortutanely less of an investment, but Lego built a nice model here, and they deserve credit.
