FIRST IMPRESSION | Score: 7

In the first impression (I bought this set in 2002 - when it first came out), it WOWED me! it really looked cool to me for a small Star Wars set. The set was only included 3 minifigures: Obi-Wan Kenobi (Young version) and 2x Droidekas (First Droideka version).  The retail price was really low so I bought 5x of this set.

Then I saw #7204 (Jedi Defense II) next to this set and I bought 5x of this set too. #7203 and #7204 (Jedi Defense I and Jedi Defense II) are combined to create the famous Episode I scene just like #7200 and #7201 (Final Duel I and Final Duel II) were combined to create the famous Episode VI scene.

It's not as iconic as the other small Star Wars sets but it's awesome!!!

TLG made this sets (7203 & 7204, 7200 & 7201) to get both of them and create famous scenes. So in the first look, #7203 is a nice and small set.

UNIQUE PARTS | Score: 4

No unique parts/minifigures were included in #7203

You can find the minifigures in the other Star Wars sets of the 2002 line.

PLAYABILITY/BUILD EXPERIENCE | Score: 7

It just took 4-5 minutes for me to build the whole set. This is fun-to-build set!!! I enjoyed while building it. This set is more like a display set so playibility is not so great.

VALUE FOR MONEY | Score: 9

The retail price was 5.99$.It contains 111 pcs (3 minifigures) so I can say that the value for money is great and cheap for a Star Wars fan and a collector.

THEME POPULARITY | Score: 8

Not many Star Wars fans loves Episode I, so the theme popularity is average for other people.

But for me (I am a person who loves every Star Wars movie - including Episode I), the theme popularity is amazing!!! :)

EXCLUSIVITY | Score: 6

It's actually not an exclusive product: Average.

PACKAGING | Score: 7

The packaging (Box) is the same design of the other Star Wars sets of 2002 and 2003 line (Dark Blue) so it doesn't have a unique packaging.

GROWTH POTENTIAL | Score: 9

Retail price was 5.99$ in 2002.

According to the Brickpicker data, the current value of #7203 is 23.80$ (New) and 15.67$ (Used).

The overall increase is amazing since the retail: 240.49%

Nice CAGR!!!

DISPLAY QUALITY | Score: 8

#7203 is actually displayed with #7204 to recreate the beginning scene of Episode I.

A perfect set for a collector's display table!!!

CONCLUSION & FINAL ANALYSIS | Score: 9

This is a great addition for my collection and many other peoples' collections. The people who doesn't have this set should buy immediately!!! :) The price is not expensive, go buy it and add a great set to you LEGO Star Wars collection!!! :)
