MEMBER OWNS SET: YES     MEMBER HAS BUILT SET: YES

FIRST IMPRESSION | Score: 4

This set is very small and when you first see it, it looks... whimpy.  Lego did not do the best job designing this set.  However, they did do okay with what they had to work with.

UNIQUE PARTS | Score: 4

The minifigure included in this set, (Jack Fireblade), comes in three sets.  I really like the alternate "gas mask" face on the other end of the head. The white Seat 2X3X2 peice is the only uncommon peice that comes with this set.  It can also be seen in five other sets.

PLAYABILITY/BUILD EXPERIENCE | Score: 3

With only twenty-eight peices, the Mini Mech does not have much playability.  It took me about a minute for me to build the Mini Mech.

VALUE FOR MONEY | Score: 5

Being a promotional set, the Mini Mech does not have a retail price.  You can obtain this set by spending over $50 on the Lego website.  You can never go wrong with free bricks.

THEME POPULARITY | Score: 5

The Galaxy Squad theme was never really a hit.  I have never seen any sets from this theme in a list of popular LEGO products.

EXCLUSIVITY | Score: 4

You may be able to find this set at your local Walmart.  LEGO does not sell this product, but with orders over $50 you can get it for free.

PACKAGING | Score: 6

I've always liked poly-bags, and I think LEGO did a good job with the packaging for this set.

GROWTH POTENTIAL | Score: 2

I do not see much growth potential for this set.  It is not very rare and it would shock me if this set was sold for over $7.00.

DISPLAY QUALITY | Score: 2

If you put this set on display, you would probably be asked if a five year old built it.  The only way I would ever display the Mini Mech is if I was collecting the entire Galaxy Squad theme.

CONCLUSION & FINAL ANALYSIS | Score: 4

Overall, I would rate this set a four.  Not the best set, but if you can get it for $2.50 or under, it is an okay deal.
