Placed a $35.64 order free shipping with Target. They offered a $1 discount to combine shipments, then proceeded to charge me $5.99 shipping as my total was now less that $35. Sent from my SM-A326U1 using Tapatalk3 points

yea the mocs and original design are safe but many (most?) of the myriad of KO Flego companies crank out both. I'd wager most of the $$$ amount of flego bought is going towards illegal replicas... Lego legal probably doesnt feel its worth their time but with the economy plateauing and lego income post peak, they may well start to crack down. In fact, I'm extremely surprised they haven't already given the blatant and widespread availability of the clones. Begun, the clone wars have...2 points

Out of curiosity I reported this listing to ebay for counterfeit or authenticity practices since it's clearly not LEGO, but yet advertised as the real deal. They denied my claim saying the listing doesn't violate their policy. Flego manufacturers can make all kinds of sets/bricks for all I care, but manufacturers and sellers marketing sets as LEGO which are clearly a copy of an existing set is bad for the industry as a whole and should be addressed. How does ebay get away with a not my problem attitude allowing a free market for counterfeit and corruption?2 points

After more than 3 months, I was able to get all of my stock returned. It took more than a month to get any response at all, after pinging through every contact I had there multiple times. It then took more than 2 months to have them set up a return. And even at that point I had no idea things were going to come back. Eventually I had a ****-ton of stuff delivered randomly. I had couple dozen smaller items missing, but I assume they sold and got credited to someone else.... as it wasn't uncommon for me to have random items I never sent in credited to me, so I'll call it a wash. I also had one item returned that I never sent them. I didn't overdo it there like some people, but still tens of thousands of inventory over the years. 53% was the total lost to fees through them. This includes platform fees, vendor fees, storage, and shipping. Gross profit after fees was 99.4%, which is nothing to complain about at face value. But while not having control of your stock, many items missed prime selling windows. Looking at my spreadsheets, profit would have been at least 2.5x higher selling on my own, and much higher on a lot of items that missed their big bumps. I think they had a fine idea that grew too fast because they accepted too many people in before having the logistics figured out. Then moving all the inventory to another state just compounded things and it all collapsed from there.2 points

Oh yeah. That's where you find the "“Star Wars” spaceships, for example, routinely sell for north of $1,000. A set that turns into Han Solo’s Millennium Falcon fluctuates between $1,000 and $4,000, according to the website Work + Money."2 points

LOL Jang lost his loyalty to LEGO when LEGO removed his reviews of sets that were released early in EU (but not yet in US). This was what, 5 years ago ? Having said that, if the brick company holds official license from the IP owners, it should not be classified as knock off brand. 🤷♂️ Looking at CADA website, I am tempted to buy this Trueno from Initial D anime. https://decadastore.com/products/initial-d-toyata-trueno-ae86-c61024w1 point

Here's a collage I just did. My photoshop skills are a bit rusty. The corona is actually more pronounced in my picture than I remember. I over exposed a bit as the bright red prominence that I so remember seeing projecting out from the bottom of the sun (looked like a little campfire) is unfortunately washed out.1 point

It was totality or bust for us…fought traffic both ways to get out to Mount Vernon, IL. The moment that it's safe to remove eclipse glasses, you could actually hear the crowd gasp in amazement (and then the crickets and frogs took over). A truly breathtaking and awe inspiring event, and luckily my second time experiencing it (other was in my backyard in 2017). Didn't bother with photos, as there are folks much more talented than I am in that department. Certainly an experience that makes you ponder your place in the universe (I love the description of feeling "paper thin and whole at the same time", which perfectly encapsulates it!)1 point

Dayton, OH here ... 100% totality. This was my second time, after seeing the full eclipse of 2017 near Bowling Green, KY. Haven't had the time to do proper editing, but here is a timelapse sequence of the last 3 minutes before totality, and a few mins after. Also a shot of the eclipsed sun, but not sure if Tapatalk limitations give the inage enough resolution for you all to zoom in and see the moon obscuring the sun. I was lucky enough to be in totality poolside at Stowe mountain lodge in Vermont while dj logic and g love rocked the village. Once totality hit it was dark as 10 o’clock and very very cold in the shadow of Mt Mansfield. In totality I could see the corona red curls popping out with naked eye no solar glasses You could literally see the wave of dark and light coming over mountain. 99% and 100% were starkly different. Very surreal with fresh snow, kids swimming and eclipse happening all at once. Shocking how little sunlight it takes to make it seem light on earth. extreme fleeting nature of this once in a life experience left me feeling paper thin and completely whole at the same time. Thank goodness my kids wanted to see to see it so bad. Traffic back sucked bigly.1 point

Yes, many thanks Tonka for following through on this. I'll may later regret saying this, but .... If folks want to DM their lists to me, I can collate them, remove dupes, and then pass them along to Tonka. Should only take you a few mins. go to manage inventory page set page max list to 250 items (not sure how I did this) search for "discontinued" Highlight all the search results. copy (Ctrl-C) and paste them into WordPad (or some other plain-text equivalent) doc. (important **not** Word. WordPad will save as plain text... no meta data) save and send If you want to delete some info, like quantity listed, that's OK by me. All I need is the "B0..." ASIN field.1 point

Amazon needs to rephrase that option to IDC packaging: I don't care if it arrives looking like it was towed behind the truck. Who do they think wants this option?1 point
