  3. Mine arrived in great shape 9 out of 10. The set is broken down into 3 modules with 3 corresponding instruction manuals. It would have been nice if they used 3 inner boxes with the associated bags inside of them and then did the fancy printing on them like they did for the most recent UCS sets. Instead we get a large generic white box and a bunch of loose bags. Still a risk with delivery but the new inner cardboard impact inserts seem to help.

  4. 75361 - Mandalore Spider Droid? 526 pieces Bo-Katan has arm printing, introduction to the Dark Saber piece. Spider droid looks decent. Unless you fall in love with the scene from the show, meh.

  5. 200% agree with this. 45 years old, dad is 87, and 87 would be much easier for him if he had been focused on fitness in middle age. His struggles have sharpened my focus: Regular Strength training, less than 20% body fat, blood sugar under control. you can’t control much, but these things you can.

  6. I agree, they could do better job with sorting bags - I've only been through bags 1-5. Some of them were in white inside box. Some weren't. I would have thought it would make more sense to put for example bags 1-20 in that white separate box and others in overall bigger box. Seemed a little random.

  7. I ordered two Mos Eisleys from Amazon. They came inside the LEGO clamshell shipping box and both in a large Amazon box. That set is big but fairly skinny. I ordered two Disney Castles and they came separately boxed. If Amazon is low on stock at a location, it's possible that you might receive two separate boxes no matter what since they may come from two separate fulfillment centers. Amazon fulfillment moves in strange and mysterious ways.

  8. Not the gunship but I have purchased multiples of 3 large sets same height and width but not depth in FF packaging and they all shipped together in their own Lego box and then placed in a larger Amazon box. These might be a tad bit too large for that, go for it? ETA: Sets like Gunship, Cantina, Home Alone would be nice to know.

  9. For anyone who might want it for 1/3 off the price....Is this another set that just won't die https://www.walmart.com/ip/LEGO-Speed-Champions-Chevrolet-Corvette-C8-R-Race-Car-and-1969-Chevrolet-Corvette-76903-Building-Toy-512-Pieces/809671046?athbdg=L1100&fbclid=IwAR0MyTXlhvlMQE1jiQxWDCDu3CR2T-T3q4tzEmjlOUurBwIV-5IFfi97fTk

  10. Jump rope was great initially lost some weight but I was just craving something that was more 'complete'. Rowing is nice in that you need a good mix of cardio and strength both of which are important as you age. I have some kettlebells and also a pull up bar plus rings. Simple equipment but more than enough to give you a solid workout. Most of my life I do sports but upon reflecting I realised I didn't have much purpose. I'm very focused on exactly what i want now, that is to keep my body in as best shape as I can as I get closer to retirement age. I have a few friends who are in great shape but even more who have put on a few pounds, weight is one of the most easily modifiable risk factors imho. I've cut down non-social drinking completely too.

  12. Bumping this topic with a, well, year later update I suppose looking at that post date. Oi. Not too far afterwards from then (like a couple months later), I ended up dropping close to forty pounds altogether. And I was already close to being underweight as it was. Changing my diet helped the most for certain. I never was one to eat a lot of sugar or fast food growing up. However, I did end up having quick meals for work and often afterwards as well. A number of microwave meals that were not as healthy as claimed to be. Not to mention a sedentary lifestyle formed by working in front of a computer at work and home leading to low blood pressure. Anyway, I did much research on my own using signs of deficiencies to narrow it down to food sources good in folate acids (vitamin B9), for testosterone, and providing zinc. There is some crossover and other factors, but this "trifecta" helped keep things simple for me. Eating predominately a lot of freshly frozen fruits across the board has been significant to my well-being. Plus, as I mentioned in a different thread, I rediscovered my joy of cooking. A process benefiting my physical and mental health ....and emotional health if I am honest. So, between all that and cutting out fatty foods and also managing to quit the soda (my one last vice), here I am. Lost forty pounds then gained about ten back in muscle through strength training and fitness. I imagine some of that earned back weight is 'healthy fat' odd as that may sound. (I read having less than 10% or 5% body fat is possible but feels horrible with general fatigue, constant hunger & thirst, lack of motivation, etcetera.) Overall, my body feels better and leaner with room for improvement. Now I am not above ever having a soda or bacon cheeseburger again. I just will do so in moderation. I mean, I am a moderator after all. Haha.
