Maybe this is common knowledge to the pros out there, but clearly some sellers arent realizing this tip.
Oftentimes, amazon will discount a set from 3rd party sellers to get it to a price amazon wants. Say for example, a $103 set will be marked as 99.99 with a 3.01 discount provided by amazon.
When you notice that as a seller, you should raise your price up to the referral fee, or just more than 15% from the discounted price, in this case a little over 115$.
Why? Simple. Amazon's discount will typically expand up and to the price of its referral fee. So they give it up to get to their desired price point. More than that and amazon will not discount your price at all. But why leave money on the table? Note: It may not be exactly to the referral price. I did not test this extensively.
