Harry Potter Lot

Recommended Posts

Is this worth buying with some minifigs missing? She states about 3 are missing from the whole lot. But not 100% sure.

Asking $325

Harry Potter Lego lot of 7 sets!

Some are complete and some have very minimal pieces missing.

Almost all of the minifigures and accessory pieces are there.

There aren't too many stupid questions but you've been here long enough to use the lot calculator...

That's a stupid question and an insta-buy :)

**Worst case: there are a couple of $60 minifigures that may be missing.**

Two years ago I bought a bulk lot off of Goodwill for $200. It had that same train (4841) plus the castle (4842) and Diagon Alley. It was missing about 10% of the parts and didn't have all the minis (most but not all).

Instructions were there for DA and HC but not the train.

Two years later I've doubled my money and I haven't sold the train yet (I flipped the other two within 6 months).

I'll let you do the math.

Thank you for the feedback. I thought of using the calculator but didn't want to due to the possibility of the sets missing a few minifigs and possibly parts.

I contacted her and will be picking it up today. Was able to negotiate it for $280 from $325. Will post pics once I get them and sort out the missing pieces.

Investing in Harry Potter lots is better than gold, or something like that.

Unless the seller isn't being truthful - it will be so easy (and in so many ways) to pull a quick profit from these.

That is absolutely correct (thanks to the secret ingredient).
