^^ Best price in about 3 years according to CCC. This is without a doubt the best tape I've ever used. If you don't use that much tape, buy this. It will be a lifetime supply. If you package boxes, you can't beat this deal for performance and price!

This is clear tape.

This is the best tape that i have used as well, and at $19.99 for 8 rolls, you cannot beat it. I ordered another pack.

Thanks!

What advantages have you guys found with the Duck brand? I have been using this Scotch tape with no complaints and it is actually more yards per dollar than the Duck.

At the least, the Duck one mentioned above is heavy duty (3.1 mil), your scotch one is light duty - 2.4 mil

you would have to be comparing with this one:  http://www.amazon.com/dp/B000087KUA

Damn good price. I usually stock up whenever Costco has coupon for Scotch tapes.

In a pinch, I have been known to order that exact Scotch tape as well

This particular brand/model has excellent reviews as far as how long it stays stuck. That is, the cheaper brands will have a tendency to "release" sooner. Since I boxed all of my bigger sets up for storage/moving, I didnt want to buy cheap tape that would not stay stuck for 2-4 years or would be affected by humidity.

I do not have experience with the specific tape you mention, this was based on the "cheap" stuff that can be had at WM, Staples etc...   Scotch usually makes good stuff, so if the reviews were solid it would be worth a try.

In case anyone is interested, the Scotch brand heavy duty Shipping tape is on sale at Costco.  $23.49 - $7 = $16.49 for 8 rolls plus a bonus 1.88" x 400" decorative packaging tape.
