Fred Meyer in particular has a good sale on right now, although they are getting cleaned out quickly:

- Uruk Hai Army $19.99

- SW Planet sets $4.99

- 4440 Forest Police Station for $49.99

Lots of Hero Factory on sale as well for 40%-ish off.

Selling large Lego collection, located at Morningside Heights near Columbia University. Many old sets (some sealed), but mostly sealed large and small sets retired within the last 5 years. Many rare promotional sets as well. ~90% of the collection is brand new sealed. Please see the attached file for a complete list of sets.

Entire collection valued at ~$27k at MSRP and ~$38k at current market value. Want to clear space so intended for buyers who are willing to purchase a large portion of the collection (especially the large sets), and I will sell even with good discounts off MSRP. Also willing to sell at 30%+ discount off MSRP for buyers taking large amounts of small sets retired within the last 5 years.

If you are a Lego investor/collector, we will negotiate and guarantee you coming ahead with thousands to tens of thousands of profit, again if you are willing to buy a significant portion of the collection.

Per terry's request, here is the thread for folks in mostly the southern half of WI - Madison, Milwaukee, Beloit, Sheboygan - and Northern IL - Rockford, North Chicago - areas. I know I'm always happy to share knowledge when I can. This will be a great place to share the deals at our local WM, Meijer, Target, Kohl's, Best Buy, Michael's, Five Below, LEGO stores, etc. and where ever else LEGO are sold.

I'll start that the Best Buy on Mayfair has some Harry Potter minifigures left for $2.99 a piece. Disney ones are that price too but they didn't have any out on the floor.

	Hi team,

I started buying sets about 10 years ago, and stopped buying about 4 years ago. Sold around 600+ sets and down to 2 (whew!). I have somewhere between 60-100 boxes of all sizes (all types of Amazon/Target boxes + moving boxes from Home Depot). Also have 2-3 trash bags full of dunnage - air bubbles or ranpak paper. FREE to anyone in the area who wants them (you pick up). Boxes are flattened - you will probably need a pickup or van to get all of them. I'm in the Phoenix area.

It's that time. I am looking to sell my collection of legos. I have no idea how to start. So far I have looked up each set on Brick-picker and have an idea of what each is worth. I am in Phoenix, Arizona. I have all of my sets still complete with the manuals but no boxes. They vary from Star Wars, Bionical, City Legos and more. I can attach photos too if you all would like or facetime and show you all the sets. Again any help would be greatly appreciated.

Based on my count, there are at least 87 Targets, 39 Toys R Us', over 100 Walmart's(lost count after 110), and 4 LEGO Shop at Home stores in Illinois.

To start things off, I am usually in the Chicago area. I usually go to 4 Targets that are located near my house/school. They are:
Chicago McKinley
Chicago West Loop
Chicago Mid North
Chicago Near North
Occasionally, I will go to a Walmart or two, and rarely go to the Lego Store because it is located in the middle of Downtown.

For me, I like the Chicago West Loop location because it is new. Though all the Targets I have been to always seem to have understaffed checkout lines, I still enjoy looking on their shelves for anything that might have been misplaced.
I believed that this is the location that has very organized Clearance shelves, usually with a couple employees lurking around ready to answer questions, or check the prices for stuff.

While I was last at this location (Saturday), there were at least 20 Lego Heroica Draida Bay sets for about $4. I heard that Heroica was going to discontinue, so I only picked up a couple to sell immediately.

Hope this theme of member location based forums grows!!!!

So after receiving my umpteenth return of bootleg bricks, and third SSD 10221... I've been clearing out locally. It's been a fun ride, and Amazon is great for the rest of my wares... but the Lego fun has been killed by the scammers. I've cringed each time I've recalled and checked a return. I would much rather Amazon just tell them to keep what they are stealing versus having them send boxes of random bricks back, or actual entire bootleg sets. I have a theory that some of these scammers believe Amazon checks the boxes when an item is returned so they send something back in the original box that looks just like the real thing.

I had an Amazon fire sale for what I thought was worth unloading there, the rest I've recalled. I've dumped the little bit of wares I have left on Bricklink. 144 sealed sets remain.... I'll eventually turn to eBay for the random unsealed sets I plan on flipping.

Any BrickPickers in Maryland want to clear me out of the remainder? Flat $1800 for the lot if you take the rest, and I can deliver it if the distance is reasonable (located zipcode 21075). No worries if no one is interested, these lovely exporters have made 4 large orders already and if they want to continue paying the Bricklink prices, I am happy to appease them.

If you're interested in obtaining a bootleg SSD let me know as well. I did get frustrated and put one on the grill I was taking to the dump... it melted beautifully.

Have a wonderful day everyone

Just a short summary on myself: I've been investing with a buddy in a partnership (well, not technically yet) for about 4 short months. Basically, we started an ebay store early last year to sell our treasures from picking estate sales and garage/rummage sales. Picking is the fun part - taking pictures, listing, shipping, dealing with crazy people on ebay, and the rest; not so much. If we actually tried to calculate the hourly rate we made, we'd probably both quit. Anyway, the profits that were made were essentially all put into lego investments, with some flippers in there to keep the cash flow going.
