I'm looking to sell some Lego sets using the Amazon FBA service and was wondering if anybody has had any experience good or bad selling through FBA. My concerns are that I have to put an FBA label over the barcode on the box. Not sure how a collector would feel about having to remove it and potentially damage the box.

Also, a little concerned that the boxes that I send which are in mint condition, may not be received by the customer in mint condition, if you know what I mean. Just checking to see what others have experienced.

If anybody has any experience buying through an FBA seller, I would appreciate any comments on the buying side too.

Hi during a clear out I have found 3 Lego Sets in the loft. All 3 are around the 1980s, but would appreciate some help as to there value.

	theses are the following:

Lego Set 366: suitable age 3 and up.

Lego Set 733: suitable age 7 and up.

Lego Set 744: suitable age 7 and up.

I did find a website where people were selling sets, some of which appeared expensive even though the boxes were opened or had no boxes at all.

The above 3 sets are still sealed and unopened, so never used. So although they are the classic Lego sets from the 80's, and not the themed ones that are around these days, it would be interesting to know their value.

Thanks to anyone who can give any help.

I just found out AMZ has brand gated me to sell all LEGO products without any explanations, remedy or timeframe. I don't even have an "apply to Sell" button when I tried to add a product.

I have been selling for years and over 1000+ sets and my acct health has always been in good standing with only a handful of returns. I really don't understand where this is coming from. Does anyone have a similar experience? Any help would be much appreciated. THX!

	Dear FBA seller,

Please read this email carefully. The listing information described below may affect your ability to sell certain products.

As part of our ongoing efforts to provide the best possible customer experience, we are implementing approval requirements for Marvel products.

What does this mean for me?
Effective on 2018-06-27, you will need approval to list the affected products. If you do not obtain approval to sell these products prior to 2018-06-27, your listings for these products will be removed.

Why am I receiving this message?
You are receiving this message because you have sold affected products in the past. There is no penalty associated with this action.

How do I seek approval to sell the affected products?
If you would like to seek approval to sell the affected products, complete the following steps to start the application process:
In Seller Central, click the Inventory menu, and then select Add a Product.
Search for the ASIN you want to sell.
In the search results, click the Listing limitations apply link next to the ASIN.
Click the Request Approval button to start the application process.
Can I still use FBA?
Effective on 2018-06-26, only sellers approved to sell the affected products may send shipments of those products to fulfillment centers.

How will this affect my existing FBA inventory?
If you have remaining inventory of the affected products in Amazon fulfillment centers, you may continue selling your remaining inventory until 2018-06-27. After 2018-06-27, you either need to (i) obtain approval to continue to sell the affected products or (ii) create a Removal Order for return or disposal of your remaining FBA inventory.

Almost a full year ago, Bold-Arrow started a thread about his experience with Amazon Warehouse Deals. As I mentioned in today's Daily Deal thread, we recently had our third child, and there was a ton of down time in the hospital. I spent a lot of time browsing the back alley's of Brickpicker's forums, and Bold-Arrow's thread was one I stumbled across. About every 15 minutes or so, I'd refresh the listing of AWD and browse through the results. It's amazing some of the cool older sets that pop up on there! Many of them aren't investment worthy, or even buy and build worthy, but they are interesting to discover even if I ultimately decide not to purchase. I have bought 13 sets in the past 10 or so days, and I have not yet done anything but open the shipping box to verify there was an actual Lego set delivered. I figured I might as well share the excitement of exploring the purchases with all of you while we wait for some actual Lego deals to pop up. My format will go as follows, with each set in an individual post:

	Set Name:

	Set Number:

	Release Year:

	Retired (Y/******/Maybe):

	Regular Retail Price:

Current Brickpicker Value (New and Used):

	Purchase Price (Discount):

	Listed Condition:

Description of actual condition (maybe some pics too!):

	Worth the Purchase?:

If any of you have also made recent AWD purchases, feel free to post your own! I'm guessing what we'll find is that the condition code is impossible to crack, but that there may be some trends that develop and can be used to our advantage. I don't think I purchased any "Item is Damaged" sets, but I'm kinda curious to know what that means in regards to Lego. It would be pretty difficult to "damage" any actual bricks, and if any were they can be replaced relatively cheaply on Bricklink/Brickowl/etc. I'm going to go in chronological purchase order, starting with a 9493 X-Wing.

Americans lead the way with a record 585 billionaires, followed by mainland China with 373. Centi-billionaire Jeff Bezos secures the list’s top spot for the first time, becoming the only person to appear in the Forbes ranks with a 12-figure fortune. Bezos’s fortune leapt more than $39 billion, the list’s biggest one-year gain ever. He moves ahead of Bill Gates, who is now number 2. It is the biggest gap between no. 1 and 2 since 2001.

Recently got request of return from one buyer stating the reason for return was "no longer needed/wanted - birthday present already purchased". Initially, I was about to reply and OK with the return but informed the buyer the refund would be minus the shipping cost and he or she would be responsible for return shipping cost. But then I realized the buyer purchased in early Nov 2015 and requested return after almost two months.

I found it unreasonable and then cancel the request and indicated that the Lego set can only be returned if wrong item is shipped or defective item.

The buyer replied that he or she still felt it could be returned and wanted me to send my returns and refund policy.

I don't think I have any policy written down and I do not believe there is place in my account to indicate that. My policy is what I replied as above.

In the last week I have noticed a glitch (or is it?) in Amazon listings. It started with 21309, when Amazon got it in stock my listing disappeared off the site. In my inventory the link to the listing is broken and it doesn't display the lowest price available anymore - it looks like what my inventory shows when I am out of stock, except I do have it in stock. This happened once before, but then the listing was eventually fixed. This time when Amazon went out of stock, the listing didn't come back. No big deal on that one as my listing price is super high and I'm not looking to move them any time soon. But...

Today I noticed it on two more listings - Eiffel Tower and Cargo Train 60052. Amazon went out of stock of Cargo Train 60052 and it looks like they just deleted all 60052 listings. It still shows in my inventory, but the link to the listing returns a "missing" result and if you search for Lego 60052 or Lego cargo train the closest you get to finding the set on Amazon is combo pack. With Eiffel Tower, there are multiple listings but the main one that used to show up when you searched "LEGO Eiffel Tower 21019" is just gone.

Anyone have any insight into what is going on here? I'm not necessarily looking to flip Eiffel Towers and Cargo Trains any time soon, but if Amazon going out of stock means they start taking everyone's listings down, that could become a problem.

So I'm a long time lurker here, and a long time seller on Amazon.

Sold a 10221 SSD FBM, purchased it at discount many years ago.

A week after the user received it I get a counterfeit claim, buyer claims it was not authentic. I immediately send the buyer a return label. And surprisingly enough, the buyer actually sends it back without an issue.

It arrives opened so I inspect the pieces. It surely is a SSD, but a knockoff version. Tons of bags of pieces and a lovely book that has "bogus bricks" stamped on the front. All stuffed in my previously minty LEGO SSD box.

I talk to many people at Amazon... they don't care. Tell me that it could have been like that when I purchased it. I inform them these knockoffs did not exist back then, it falls on deaf ears.

I'm down one SSD, a big hit on my account, and shipping costs. In return I got a nice pile of toxic bricks.... thanks Amazon

Not sure if anyone else has been hit by this yet, but a new trick by the scammers. Soon enough they'll be using hair dryers to loosen seals then switching it out without anyone knowing. You'll send back out a set that still looks sealed, and you'll truly be sending out counterfeit goods.

I'd like opinions on the Amazon Business Accounts for Lego reselling. Since many of the deals and no-limits buying seems to be coming into the Business Accounts.

I assume I wouldn't have any problems getting an account and I've had a reseller certificate for years if I wanted to submit that as an option.

Right now, I ship more out of state than in state, so I don't charge in-state customers sales tax since I more than offset all the necessary collected sales taxes with originally paid sales taxes. Even with the offset, I'm leaving money on the table that the state gladly keeps.

I haven't ever tried to avoid sales taxes with the retailers in order to stay below their reseller radar as much as possible.

But, if Amazon welcomes Lego purchases, then I expect the percentage of sales wouldn't change my formula if I bought from Amazon and got out of sales tax -- I'd still have paid more sales tax from TRU, Target, Walmart, etc... than I was obligated to collect from in-state buyers.

	So, I guess two questions.

Are there any drawbacks to signing up for the Amazon Business Account?

Are there any drawbacks to also submitting my reseller permit?

Seems they welcome personal prime accounts (have of course) applied to their business accounts so I'd take advantage of that too.

I'm having trouble seeing any cons in this equation. Definitely a bunch of pros. Just want to make sure before I make the plunge.

	Thanks!
