	I listed a sealed 30th Gold C3P0 and some person kept emailing and asking how he can find one in a sealed boxed set. Needless to say, he never placed a Buy It Now offer after I asked if he was interested. Then I finally received a decent offer that I accepted. The UK buyer never paid after asking me twice if shipping will require a signature.
</p>

<p>
	I won an open UCS Vader Tie Defender and the seller doesn't want to claim my payment via PayPal. Although feedback was low, his email is legit. I just sent him one.
</p>

<p>
	My son wanted a Batman 1 Batmobile so I won one, Auction stated complete except for the road block. 16 minor elements ended up missing from both vehicles and seller shipped the set in the original lego box (wasn't listed in the auction) w/ supermarket brown paper around it. Never the less, the box was a pleasant surprise.
</p>

<p>
	Feel free to also post any eBay feedback horror stories.

	So ebay apparently learned a new trick, that old dog.
</p>

<p>
	Previously, any orders containing multiple items would combine weights and go with the biggest box of all items to calculate the shipping -- they assume you are going to put them in one box and that that box must be the same size as the biggest item <span class="ipsEmoji">🤨</span>
</p>

<p>
	Since I prepackage everything and use boxes matched to the sets (with some room for a wrap or two of bubble wrap), I'm always going to need larger boxes and usually find myself in volumetric pricing territory.
</p>

<p>
	So, I've disabled combined shipping and just refund the difference to a buyer if they want me to try to combine boxes and reduce shipping.
</p>

<p>
	Well, today I get a multiple-item order and -- I'm not sure how -- but ebay actually came up with a new box size.  It is much larger than any one item.  It seems to have figured out the longest dimension at least and made sure the box was that long.
</p>

<p>
	Probably won't help me much since I still don't trust it -- it doesn't know what box sizes I have sitting around -- and sometimes it is safer to send two large sets in separate boxes anyways to avoid crushing each other.
</p>

<p>
	But worth noting that they are at least trying.
</p>

<p>
	Now, let's see if they ever learn that I'm not going to combine (after specifying the items don't qualify for combined shipping) just because it is through global shipping...

	Hello all!  Curious what the program is to be able to use the drop down menu for selling Lego parts on Ebay. Not sure how many different pieces it has available, but the one I'm referring to is for a standard 2x4 brick. In the listing, you can use the drop down menu to select colors and another drop down menu for the amounts(might be sold in amounts of 5 or 10 or 25, etc.).
</p>

<p>
	Not sure if its on the Ebay side or an outside program. Also, if anyone knows, do you have to use your own picture or is one supplied to match the color chosen by the buyer?
</p>

<p>
	Any help would be appreciated for either the program mentioned above or an easier way to list individual pieces on Ebay without having to create your own database(to prevent having to take multiple pictures of items sold in the past. The process is pretty simple on Bricklink for pieces, but Ebay is a different monster since they are not limited to Lego only.
</p>

<p>
	Again, any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!!
</p>

	Hi All,
</p>

<p>
	I'm not sure if this has been discussed before. On the last 3 of my ebay selling I got buyers with this address: <span style="background-color:#ffffff;color:#222222;font-size:small;text-align:left;">18432 NE Sandy Blvd, Portland, OR 97230.</span>
</p>

<p>
	<span style="background-color:#ffffff;color:#222222;font-size:small;text-align:left;">I've been cancelling the transactions. Can you share your experiences with this address? Thank you.</span>

	Just a quick question for everyone who sells on eBay...
</p>

<p>
	I have a rather established eBay account, been a member since 2004, never have had an issue with buying or selling, however, today I sold a Lego set to someone who has zero feedback. I have never sold to anyone who does not have any feedback. I have read some horror stories on here about these Lego scams and am curious of everyone else's experience with zero feedback buyers.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	He purchased the item via "Buy it Now" and paid immediately with PayPal and the funds are showing in my PayPal account so I think everything should be okay, right?

	I just want to share below youtube video, so everyone can be careful when selling on eBay. Basically, the guy on the video suddenly generated about $2.5M sales and was not able to provide invoices. This could happen with anybody sourcing items via garage sales/thrift stores/estate sales, etc.

	Curious what everyone's opinion is on the "New" Listing Tool.  If you still see the old HTML style screen when creating a new listing, there should be an option on the top of the page to check out the new tool.  You can switch back to the old one anytime.  When you switch, you can see the new layout is a little different but still close enough to the old one.  Just FYI, eBay is rolling out this new tool for every seller soon.
</p>

<p>
	I put New in quotes because eBay has made this tool available for (some?) sellers for at least 2 years.  I opted in to use it early last year, but opted out after a few weeks due to slowness and bugs in the tool.  I opted back in recently and the current version of the tool is much better than the one from last year.  It is faster with fewer bugs (so far) and it uses less screen space than the current HTML style new listing page from 2005.  I can still list faster with the old tool but it might be because I have been using that for the last 10+ years.

	I have a buyer who made a not too terrible offer on an item.  It was auto declined but he has been messaging me.  Wants to purchase at his figure and then send me a USPS overnight shipping label- at his expense, because he wants it sooner.  We offer free economy shipping (which would be FedEx at $25... UPS overnight would cost me, through ebay, $135 where 2nd day would be $50ish).  Maybe he has a sweet shipping deal he can get on his end that I can't.. I don't know and I don't want to overly engage with him if I am not going to do it.
</p>

<p>
	The only reason I have any thoughts of consideration is that they have over 3,000 feedback at 100%.
</p>

<p>
	Anyone have experience with buyers wanting to pay for their own shipping as opposed to just paying more to upgrade on my end?

	I am in a little bit of a difficult situation and need some advice. I sold two comics for $25 plus $5 shipping. Mailed them off to the verified paypal address via USPS. No problems. The buyer opens a case on me for item not received. I check the tracking and it says the item was delivered. I send a message telling him it was delivered and he says he didn't get it. I tell him to call his local post office. He does and says the package could not be delivered because there was something wrong with the shipping label and it is being sent back to me and that it was scanned delivered by accident. I tell me him I'll keep an eye out for it but the tracking says delivered so that's all I know. There were no additional updates to the tracking. I do get the package back almost two weeks later and the label was partially torn off by USPS and the comics were a little damaged in their 4500 mile trek across the country and back. What do I do? If I tell him I got them back he is either going to expect me to pay to ship them again or if I tell him they were damaged he is not going to want them anymore and want a full refund leaving me with damaged product I can't resell. I'm better off just saying I never got them back because I am protected because the tracking says delivered. He would lose the case if it were escalated right? I feel bad for the guy because it wasn't his fault but it wasn't mine either.

	I think I already have my answer but in the off chance someone has a solution -- is it possible to restrict who can bid on your items other than the two filters (countries you don't ship to or people with unpaid claims)?  I have some items up on the site and they're getting all these bids from people with nonsensical users names (leotig934gj3k) that were created today and have no feedback or history.  I'm not even going to bother sending anything out but then I fear I will just end up taking the hit from Ebay for being a bad seller.
</p>

<p>
	Ebay "customer service" just said they understand my hesitancy but couldn't really help me any.

	What would you do? Contact buyer and say something? Any advice welcome

	Hi folks.
</p>

<p>
	I sold an Osprey to someone in Italy a while ago MISB. It took ages to arrive, and has apparently arrived damaged and they want a 100% refund through eBay.<br />
	I've heard enough horror stories that I'm not 100% surprised, but am unsure what to do from here.
</p>

<p>
	They paid $1400US+postage, so they obviously have a huge incentive to get their money back by claiming damage etc. They sent photos which, to be fair, make the damage look fairly genuine (of both the set and the packaging I sent it in). While it's super frustrating, I don't think it's my place to accuse them of doing the damage themselves. Even if that is the case, A: I like to believe the best in people and B: I have no way to prove it and it wouldn't achieve anything if I could.
</p>

<p>
	At this point, the set is now only worth, say, $500US. DHL quoted me $250US to return it.
</p>

<p>
	My question is, is it worth paying $250 to return a set to myself when there's a chance they'll fill it with rocks and I'm completely screwed out even that money (I mentioned I like to believe the best in people, but I know these things do happen and I'm a pretty calculated man).
</p>

<p>
	Another out-of-the-box but valid option is (probably the best option, really) if anyone knows people in Italy who would be keen on the set, I could have it shipped to them for ~$50. If it arrived in damaged but sealed condition, they could pay me a fair but cheap price and keep the set so it's at least not my problem any more. If it's stones, well, at least I didn't spend $200 more on postage, and they're no worse off.
</p>

<p>
	I'm trying to balance a number of risks here!
</p>

<p>
	Would love your wisdom.

	Hi Guys
</p>

<p>
	So I sold a set on eBay, first time selling but sold a new Ewok Village for $478 free shipping, seller has paid and has a confirmed PayPal shipping address in Texas but he has zero eBay reviews.  Not sold anything this big before on eBay, anything I should look out for or do, I am sending it to be signed for but what can I do to protect myself here?
</p>

<p>
	Thank you
</p>

<p>
	Stu
