  1. Past hour
  2. I get that. I roll my eyes A LOT. Some really dumb reasons for returns.
  3. Yeah, not saying they are more -- they aren't. I'm just "seeing" more now since I'm 100% FBM.
  4. Today
  5. Thats interesting. My returns with FBM are exponentially lower then FBA and usually in resealable condition when I do get the item back.
  6. This is the first year I've done 100% FBM. Crazy the number of returns that I really did't notice though FBA. 90%+ changed mind/already had. Inaccurate website description is popular too. Got to wonder if Amazon ever puts a cap or some kind of limitation on this. I mean, I know they do if it really gets out of hand but the money lost on all these returns is ridiculous. Whenever I go into a UPS store I always see these ladies with huge piles of Amazon returns. They are usually pretty proficient at it too which implies its a very regular thing. Being in business myself, I'm always more sensitive to costing a business money if I don't have to. I don't park in front of a business I'm not frequenting, I decide what I want before walking up to a cashier, return things to physical stores to save on shipping, don't take utensils & condiments I don't need, etc. I don't know how much of it is because people have little economic sense or the general feeling that is being pushed that businesses are evil for making profit so that's what they get.
  7. I was aware but not to the extent I could raise my price that much. Figured if I did they would just transfer discount to another 3rd party.
  8. And next week, someone will post "I don't understand why Target hates resellers so much." ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This QVC deal has been going on for a day or two. Set 40746 (Santa's Delivery Truck) Reg $20. Use code word "GIFT" when checking out and reduce the price to $15.98. Limit 5 and code only works once per order. Free shipping. The set retires at the end of this year. Not a great deal but better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick. https://www.qvc.com/lego-santas-delivery-truck-224-piece-building-set.product.T87413.html
  9. Definitely news to me. Thank you.

  11. Maybe this is common knowledge to the pros out there, but clearly some sellers arent realizing this tip. Oftentimes, amazon will discount a set from 3rd party sellers to get it to a price amazon wants. Say for example, a $103 set will be marked as 99.99 with a 3.01 discount provided by amazon. When you notice that as a seller, you should raise your price up to the referral fee, or just more than 15% from the discounted price, in this case a little over 115$. Why? Simple. Amazon's discount will typically expand up and to the price of its referral fee. So they give it up to get to their desired price point. More than that and amazon will not discount your price at all. But why leave money on the table? Note: It may not be exactly to the referral price. I did not test this extensively. Please let me know if this is news to you. Im curious if everyone already realized this.
  12. These sets are like a cross between a LEGO and a snap-together model kit. Pieces are very specialized but in the end the build does look the part to a T. I hope to see them release construction sets based on the more signature rides the brand built its reputation upon. And I remember the clutch on ol' Mega Bloks. Many of the parts being incredibly tight while some barely hanging on. Sometimes can spot at a glance from the finish on the piece itself what was what.

  15. Be the change you hope everyone else to be.
  16. Say what? Traffic is traffic. Overall 8/10. Love that they include the HotWheels car and the extra parts for the "upgrade". Nice build but they do get away with having very specific custom parts like the wheel wells and front/rear glass. Nice, but not in the "spirit" of how Lego does it. The printer parts are nice. The customization requires sticker use, so it's optional. The brick grip isn't great and it takes more force to build that Lego, albeit not as bad as old Mega. The polish on the tile bricks leaves much to be desired, it just looks sloppy and almost pre-owned. Sent from my Pixel 7 using Tapatalk
  17. Couple deals on Costco, almost half off the SW logo after taking $10 off for the mech, good for a personal build.
  18. You’re right, and this is one of the reasons why it’s dead. No mods cleaning up threads like this. Site used to be a daily must check. Now nothing. It’s a shame.
  19. I hope we can continue if something were to happen here.
  20. A QFLL secret slack group???? QFLLpicker.com??? I can only imagine the misfits in a secret group of flippers...
  21. There are several I’d imagine.
  22. Speaking of which, we should have a discord or slack backup in case this gravy train with biscuit wheels runs off the track someday and the brothers pull the site down. There are rumors of a QFLL slack somewhere out there but discord might be better.
  23. This forum is dead. Who cares. Get over it.
  24. Not LEGO. Nobody cares.
  25. I am currently building the Mattel Brick Shop NSX. In the past, I have built a few of the other Mega Cars, this one is really nice but my biggest complaint is the quality of the 4x2 red tiles, there are some really scratched parts that overall just take away form the look of the model. Overall a fun build. Not sure if I will get the 8-wide versions yet.
