  • Exclusive Lego Snowglobe and 2X Points Now Available for VIPs

    jaisonline

One of Lego's 2016 Holiday promotions is now available now, the much anticipated 40223 Snowglobe set.  This available is considered "Early Access" for VIP members in the U.S. and Canada.  It also appears the general public (non-US and CA Lego residents) will be able to get the Snowglobe set from Nov 25th to the 28th.

The Snowglobe is only available from November 19, 2016 through November 20, 2016 or while supplies last.  1 set will be included with each online and in-store orders costing more than $99.   Note: Offers not valid at LEGOLAND® Parks or LEGOLAND Discovery Centers

The Snowglobe promotion should quickly disappear if prior seasonal promotions are an indicator (e.g. 2015's 40139 Gingerbread House promotion).

Personally, I like the investment potential of this set as well as the design.  AFOLs and KFOLs are sure to enjoy the build experience and display value is exceptional.

Looks like it's not available at shop at home anymore. Just added a Pet Shop to my cart and no Snow Globe :(

You sure about that? I just ordered a US Capitol from Shop At Home. Snowglobe showed up just fine.

Try logging out, and then logging back in (doing this has worked for me).

Snowglobe didn't show up for me in my 'bag" until I went to checkout, then it shows up.

Not that I'm checking out... Nothing on SAH that I'm interested in at RRP. I'll wait until the 28th when the wall calendar is also available with BF sales... hopefully it'll still be available. If not, it's not the end of the world.

I hope there's some left when it's our turn in the UK.

Pretty sure they have stock set aside for UK/Europe. Different boxes in any case. The US boxes have part count, UK/Europe don't.

What is everyone buying to qualify for the snow globe? Can't think of anything else to buy other than Holiday Train.

Purposely waited to buy RO sets for the double RP and globe. I bought all of them minus the Uwing since I got like 10 of those for around 30 a pop. Also bought the SH tanker set and the Beatles (the misses likes Beatles and was a way for me to get another globe) I ended up getting 4. 4 separate transactions all around 100-110 per tran.

Investment wise with nothing on sale I personally would sit out but since I didn't have any RO sets made it worth while. 45-50 per globe and double RP makes it like 50% off my orders...

Seems this set has served to push a few things into pre-retirement. Let´s hope the last day of countdown and BF/CM do the same so we know where we are for xmas flipping.
