Out of curiosity I reported this listing to ebay for counterfeit or authenticity practices since it's clearly not LEGO, but yet advertised as the real deal. They denied my claim saying the listing doesn't violate their policy. Flego manufacturers can make all kinds of sets/bricks for all I care, but manufacturers and sellers marketing sets as LEGO which are clearly a copy of an existing set is bad for the industry as a whole and should be addressed. Talk about a “Shelf Warmer” my Target UCS Hulkbuster arrived in an outer target shipping box with an inner Lego factory box. One side of the Lego box was filthy from 9/2022 TBD original run set. I had box 1 of 20 so the invoice was attached with 20 set stickers with a purge date of 3/2024 so I guess Target needed to get these out of their system. The actual set box is minty perfect will be interesting if this set ever makes it back above MSRP.- 11,825 replies

Yea, this is the same play they've been doing for years. Buyers get a discount, thief gets 100% profit, and the actual retail vendor gets screwed. They used to use Walmart a lot more, but since Walmart started dropping off direct from stores, there isn't tracking numbers. Most buyers just accept the product, but there is increased risk of damage/theft with grocery bags left on doorsteps, and some buyers were savvy enough to file item not received claims and steal from the scammers. She can really knock these sets out. This was another Amazon return and this seems to be an issue with this set, open box returns, as most people don’t realize how much technic is in this set until they open it as it is all hidden inside. This set is one of the best engineered Lego sets I have ever seen but I have never built any of those technic cranes or super cars. Not sure how many people will pay over $400 for this one once it is gone but it sure looks great in sand green. We have a 1- 5,863 replies
